I watched Endhiran movie today and was thoroughly satisfied for the money I gave for it. I've a special liking to Shankar's movies because, every movie of his is different and special, one out-performs the other Endhiran surely has out-performed his previous movie Sivaji- The Boss.
No surprises that this one is the highest budgeted film in Indian cinema, jaw-dropping graphics and special effects are a treat to watch, needless to say the songs locations and sets are simply stunning which only director Shankar can come up with.
This blog post will be bashed left, right and center if I don't mention about Rajini. To sum up his performance in this movie in three words "Stellar performance ever" by thailaivar. Chitti character fits Rajini perfectly than anyone. Despite all the technicalities put in for the movie Rajini simply steals the show with his charisma and acting. This movie again shows "this" 60+ year old can act as hero whenever he wants.
One thing which I wanted to ask, this may sound silly to someone. Chitti says "The Robot" Speed: 1 terahertz and Memory: 1 Gigabyte(?) correct me If I'm wrong. Is 1Gb of memory enough to store amount of data/information that chitti was fed with?

Endhiran: A complete family entertainer. Watch it, in theaters, for efforts put in by the movie team and Rajini.
rajini is the only reason, for the movie to succeed! Other than that- weak storyline or should i say no story at all. .unconvincing support cast. . And the scene i enjoyed the most, when rajini mimics a goat. .. And kris,u not being a rajini fan, calling him 'thalaivar' was a surprise and yes i have the same doubts with the memory size he mentioned. . . . . Naren!

ReplyDelete"Rajini is the only reason for the movie to succeed" is a very bold statement. He is one of the reasons, one should not take the credit out of others who worked for the movie. I'm not a fan of Rajini doesn't stop me calling him "thalaivar" those who aren't his fans still like calling him by that word.
i accept with naren partially ... for this kind of heavy investment u need a crowd puller to bring the money back !!! and the kind of advertisement and promotions sun network did was too good !!! but apart from that anybody other than rjni would ve done a better job in this movie !!! and the final 20 mins was awesome with graphics !!! only that part was jaw dropping .. rest all was ok

rajiv.. Yes rajini is the usp of the movie. .rest are well-'meh' but I still hold my ground on, the movie selling bcos of rajini and no other. . Even if someone with more technical talent had acted in it there is no guarantee of striking gold with weak storyline and useless side characters. .come on this is no avatar!
